Photo Challenge: Horse Edition

After a sound beating by my brother-in-law in our first photo-off, appropriately entitled “Photo Challenge: Pet Edition,” I’ve decided once again to humiliate myself with an idiotic exhibition of my photographic inadequacy. This time, however, we’re going cliche: the horse photo. And, just so it’s clear, this picture, unlike the one provided by Mr. Fancy Pants, wasn’t taken with a digital camera on steroids. Here’s the nitty gritty (a shot taken on the road to Crestone, Colorado):

Be sure, of course, as in the last photo challenge, to check out my brother-in-law’s photo, and then vote for whatever photo you think is “better.” As if it isn’t obvious…

  1. […] As with the previous challenge, please vote for your favorite photo by leaving a comment on the appropriate blog. You may view the opposing photo on the Serious Zen Blog. […]

  2. While I dig my bro’s photo - great colors, beautiful landscape, expert framing - I’ve got to go with Chris’s photo on this one. Perhaps it’s the black-and-white perspective, perhaps it’s the gentle nature of the horses. Who knows? (Nice touch adding historical info to your photo, however, Abraham. You get some points for that.)
